The DBARA Speaker Bureau

There once was a man who became our President and before he assumed his Presidency he had a dream for his beloved ham club.  That dream was to have a select group of knowledgeable speakers of values of amateur radio and its benefits to the community.  There were a lot of naysayers to his idea and some said it won't work as no one gives a hoot about ham radio.  But he held out for his convictions and has slowly managed to find a small select group of knowledgeable speakers that are slowly but surely making inroads to the community.

Stand up display on ham radioThis is one of the stand alone display boards that was used for a past speaking engagement at the Volusia County School Board.

Another stand alone display board proclaiming the value of ham radio to the community during natural calamities such as rain storms, hurricanes, or tornados when all other communication infrastructures have been temporally disrupted.

This  as you can tell from the looks of things is a general overlook of the community hall where the presentation  was being made. With the emphasis on ham radio and emergency communications assets.
