Any one entering the hall for the auction must be registered at the door and have a name tag or badge prior to being allowed in. This is a requirement that won't be dismissed. It provides us with the knowledge of how many are present and the auctioneer and his helpers with an identity for the cashier department help, Doors open to sellers only at 1800. We need to have the space and time for the seller to inventory his/her property into the sales listing. Seller's should plan to remain with their merchandise to answer questions from the "potential buyers." Doors open to buyers at 1830 to survey prior to time for the auction to begin. This is the ideal time for the "potential buyer" to ask questions of the seller. Bidding begins promptly at 1900 Location: First Presbyterian Church, 620 S. Grandview Avenue, Daytona Beachside. Take International Speedway Boulevard (US 92) east across the Halifax River to Grandview Avenue. Turn south (right if going east) on Grandview Avenue and drive 3 blocks south to the Church on the right. Parking is on the streets surrounding the church. Auction Rules: 1. The auction is open to all Amateur Radio Operators. DBARA membership not required to buy or sell. 2. Ham radio equipment and computer equipment directly related to ham radio only please. 3. Equipment should be in good condition. Ask yourself, “Would I buy this item?” 4. Payment options: CASH. Checks will only be accepted from DBARA Members. 5. DBARA will collect a 10% commission on every sale. 6. Auctioneer’s decision is final. Auctioneers will be Art Byrnes KA4WDK and/or Frank N. Haas KB4T.
