Our very first joint Field Day brick that is to be laid at the entrance  to the Daytona Beach Police Department building
[Left to right] Bill Blasingame, KI4AAN, Paul Milward, NU4C and  Frank Reda, AJ4LE sitting and standing around the HF SSB Station trying to be cool
Frank Reda, AJ4LE, and Glenn Jones, KJ4MNW, Sitting at the "Welcome Table" when the visitors first started to arrive.
Smile and say "cheese guys" you are going to be on the Channel 13 late night news, maybe?
Maybe if I stare at this card long enough I might capture a cool breeze for a moment! Things are perking up!
[L to R, F to B] Bill Blasingame, KI4AAN, and Paul Milward, NU4C, 3 guests all standing at the HF SSB Station.  Paul is not as grumpy feeling as he is grumpy looking really!
This is an interior view of the CW Station trailer and multi-function area.  It's primary function was to house the CW station and one of its multi-function uses was a heat recovery area, food storage area, sleeping area for the night crew, and a cool chat room.
[L to R] Connie Bird, KL4VRH and Mary Peterson, KJ4SCJ, operating at the HF SSB Station on Sunday morning.
[L to R] Ted Cardinal, KI4VWL and Jeff Mathews, AJ4MQ.  Jeff is thinking "if I read the directions maybe just maybe I can make this thing work!"  Since it didn't work the first time.
[L to R] Not counting the partial picture the Wilcox family, Victoria, KJ4PLF [the young lady] and "Marty," W9OV,[the proud looking Dad].
[L to R] The Peterson's, Darryl, AB8GU and Mary,KL4SCJ.  Darryl is thinking "what if I turn this know and punch that button, do you think it will work, Mary?" Don't ask me, Darryl this isn't my kitchen!
Do you think it will ever work again?  I wonder what is over the horizon?
The big moment that everyne  was waiting for!   Who is the winner of the raffle?  Connie Bird drawing the ticket and Steve Szabo holding the ticket jar.  .
And the winner was Bruce Kalashian, KB4GW of Daytona Beach
The "welcome table" doesn't look like it welcomes anyone any more as Bob Ledford, WA4DI [Back to you] and Paul Milward, NU4C, supervising the removal of another one of the radio stations prior to finalizing the tear down phase.
The final wave good bye from Paul Milward, NU4C, "put a fork in me I'm done for this year!"
Marty Wilcox, W9OV [L] and Jim Needham, AJ4GM, [R] trying to roll up one of the wire antennas without dropping the bucket.
Let go Marty I got it I think?
